Lord How Do I I Know If A Man Is Into Me

If you have to question it, then he is probably not.

Anything of God and from God will bring about peace, not confusion. As a result, a man of God that is interested in you will seek to develop NOT confusion with you, but peace.

If you have to constantly question a guy’s feelings for you,

his intentions with you, or whether or not he wants to pursue you,

you already have your answer.

It’s not complicated.

Men are not complex creatures.

I’m saying this statement not to insult their intelligence or belittle their uniqueness, but because they are in the utmost fashion intelligent and beautifully unique. However, the way God designed a man is a bit differently than that of a woman. A man has no problem picking out his favorite sports team, or figuring out what he wants to eat. If he sees something he wants, he goes after it. If he likes something or is interested in a particular hobby, he goes after it. The same thing applies when it comes to a woman in his life.

If a spiritual man of God sees a woman he is interested in and she possess those godly qualities and character in which he has prayed for, he will PURSUE HER.

So my sister, stop wrecking your brain trying to figure if this certain guy in your life likes you or wants to pursue you or not. The man of God that is for YOU, will be interested in YOU and will have no problem making it clear that he wants to pursue YOU.

“For God is not a God of confusion but of peace.”-1 Corinthians 14:33

You DO NOT have to chase what is God sent.

The bible says, He that finds a wife, finds a good thing.” Key phrase being “He that finds.” God didn’t say she. So where in the world did we as women get this concept that we have to chase after a man to get his attention? A woman was not designed to be the pursuer. PERIOD. POINT. BLANK. So sis, put up your track shoes and stop running after that man in your life. If you have to chase him…he ain’t the one! You will tire yourself out trying to make a man that is not for you, the man that you want to be for YOU. Stop running. Catch your breath. Have a seat and trust God with your heart and your life.

If we’re honest with ourselves, the reason we chase after a guy is because we have yet to put our full trust in God. We’re still trying to be the god of our lives.

Our willingness to run after a guy in our life, only highlights our unwillingness to fully trust God. It in facts shows our lack of faith.

So stop chasing after a guy, and start trusting God with your heart. Relax. IT IS OK.God is in control. If it is in God’s will and purpose for you to be married, He will present that man of God to you. Simply stay fervent in prayer and obedient to God’s commands. The man of God that is for you will seek you out after He has sought out your Heavenly Father. You will not have to chase him down.

“He who finds a wife finds a good thing and obtains favor from the Lord.”-Proverbs 18:22

God will reveal it to YOU.

If you do not get anything else from this blog, please get this next part I am about to type. For every true daughter of God who has been faithful in her obedience to the gospel of Christ (1 Cor 15:1-4, Acts 2:38, Rom 6:1-6), and is truly seeking to live a life of righteousness for God, God will hear her prayers. The bible instructs us to pray about everything.

So if you genuinely seek God in prayer about a particular guy in your life and you ask the Lord to reveal the guy’s heart and feelings to you. HE WILL DO IT.

The problem however does not lie in God’s inability to respond to his faithful daughters prayers. The problem lies in our unwillingness to be patient enough to wait on the answer to our prayers or our choice to ignore God’s answer because it wasn’t the answer we wanted. We think we can pray about something for ONE night and get the answer the next morning. Sis, it doesn’t work like that. God responds when He wants to, NOT when we want Him to. He knows what is best for us. Be patient, remain obedient to God, stay persistent in your prayers toward God and He will eventually show that which He wants you to know.

And when He does answer your prayer about that certain guy in your life, accept the answer. I’ll say it again…FULLY ACCEPT THE ANSWER. Do not try to distort the answer, question the answer, or ignore the answer because it wasn’t the answer you were expecting. GOD KNOWS BEST, NOT YOU. Even if it may hurt to accept the answer, DO IT. Even if you may have to shed a few tears, STILL accept the answer. Nothing is worse than trying to hold on to someone or something that God is clearly telling you to let go of. Do not block your blessings from God by choosing to hold onto something or someone that is clearly a stumbling block.

If the answer is YES and that particular guy in your life comes to you, and is open about His feelings and intentions of pursuing you, and His actions have followed the words he has expressed to you…DO NOT RUSH TO THE ALTAR to marry him.

Sloooooow down, sis.

Still be in fervent prayer about that particular guy in your life, the courtship you both wish to pursue, and your heart. So many times we make the mistake, as women, of jumping ahead of God’s timing. Before we know it, we already have married the guy in our head, picked out the names of our future children, and the kind of house we want. Again, I kindly say, SLOW DOWN.

Continue to allow the GUY TO PURSUE YOU. Do not jump ahead of yourself and try to control everything to make things happen because you so desperately want it to happen. Continue to trust God with all of your heart. Seek God for guidance, for direction, and for control of your emotions. Stay in prayer and constant communication with God about the matters of your situation. Remember, God is for you, but the devil is also out to destroy you. Anything that comes from God, the devil wants to demolish, but the devil is NO match for God.

YOU NEED GOD TO DEFEAT THE SCHEMES OF THE DEVIL IN YOUR COURTSHIP.

So, do not get ahead of yourself and think you have it all figured without first consulting God. You cannot fulfill a purpose and plan of God if God is not even in the picture. Trust God with your heart, your love story, and EVERY aspect of your life. Do not make a step until He tells you to. God loves you, and you deserve God’s best for YOU. Trust Him. He is faithful.

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will make your path straight.”-Proverbs 3:5-6

“Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find…”-Matthew 7:7

I’ll end with this. Desperation will NOT lead you to ending up with the person God has for you. It will leave you ending up with or clinging on to a person that is not for you. We must learn to trust God’s timing and not our timing. We must seek to be obedient and not disobedient when it comes to matters of our heart. God knows best. Do not rush it. Do not create it. Just let God mold and make it! He is the ultimate Creator of lasting, spiritual, and fruitful relationships. Trust God. Remember, you are SO WORTH being pursued. The man that is for YOU will have no problem pursuing YOU. Be Encouraged!

      1. I believe that a man that is clear and sure about what he wants, will verbalize that. His actions will then align with what he has verbalized. There will be no questions, no guessing and no reason to be unsure.

  3. Thanks for the information. This is exactly what I needed and need to hear; because sometimes confusion sets in. This blog explain men pursuing or not pursuing women in a sort of spiritual and practical sense.
With this information, a woman can decide if it is worth it, worth waiting on or maybe see what another Christian pursuer will offer in terms of the heart soul and mind.

    1. Amen! May you be encouraged! God is faithful and will continue to guide us in all things.

  4. I’m so ever thankful to have found this site. Your message is on point. Truly I believe God sent “the one” but I rejected him. He pursued me and I knew he was very attracted to me, and still I rejected him. Not in a way that I wasn’t interested. Just he came so strong but subtle if that makes sense. I later left the church, God said to go back. I obeyed and again this strong Christian man attraction is still there for me. God has given me visions, dreams, and outward in my face conformation of him. I’m totally trusting God alone. I do know the enemy can imitate and cause a fall, if not rooted in the word of God. Trust me, I’m standing totally on the rock (word of God) He leads I simply just follow. That’s the best way I’m dealing with this situation now…one rock at a time..Gods word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path…..Psalm 119:105

  7. Hey Ashley!

Praise God that he led me to this blog post! I sooooooo needed to hear what you we’re saying. The statements you made were so profound. I’m glad they were blunt–that’s just what I needed. Wow. Thank you, my sister in Christ.

  8. Thank you for your words of wisdom. God is definitely using you to encourage young women to focus on the important things. God bless you!

  9. really enjoyed this article woman of God Bless you it has truly been a blessing to read this ! I am encouraged to wait on the Lord

  10. I wrote back in April and read what I’ve posted. I realized that my focus is off “centered”. The real love, my first love is my Father in Heaven. When you seek ye First the Kingdom of God and His righteousness and ALL these things shall be added unto you Matt. 6:33. It’s not about if someone is into you but that my Father in Heaven is my First Love and that I’m faithfully obedient to Him alone. My true love is Him and it took me to realize this, through my long great nights of suffering. A man cannot satisfy me like God can in ALL things. I’m learning also, that when your focus is off your desires can be amiss or not aligned to God ultimate desire for your life. Meaning some desires are self centered based. Therefore, if God isn’t First all the time during the season of singleness. He won’t be if a man enters my life. That is a fact. Since my last post God has redirected me so that my desire of a mate at this point has ceased. Ultimately centered, “For I am jealous over you with a godly jealousy: for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ” 2 Corinthians 11:2. And I have to admit I cannot forget His sweetness when my Father in heaven found me in my filth and looked upon me, behold, thy time was the time of love; and I spread my skirt over thee, and covered thy nakedness: yea, I swore unto thee, and entered into a covenant with thee, said the Lord God, and thou became mine Ezekiel 16:8. Amen!!
God is Sovereign so it’s His will if the plan to have or not to have. God love is ALL sufficient with me all the day long. Humility looks great on me..I’m giving Him all praise!!

  11. Thanks Ashley. Thanks for teaching me how to keep my heart with all diligence not allowing someone to trample over it and putting all my trust in God. May God keep on giving you wisdom.

  12. Thanks Ashley!
Now how do I keep my heart with all diligence so that I won’t let him trample on it by playing with my emotions?

  13. I’m so grateful I stumbled onto this article. Really struggling with wanting someone and trying to make things happen is just wearing me out. He seems interested but not moving on it. It’s no accident that I found this article. I’ve been praying for clarification. Well meaning friends with different opinions, I felt so torn up until now. Thank you so much
